Ft. Worth

This past weekend we went to Ft. Worth to visit Mitch, Elizabeth and Jack. We had such a fun time. Carson got to swim for the first time and absolutely loved it! He is such a little fish! The water was a little chilly, but Carson didn't seen to mind at all. We tried to go the the zoo, but it was way too crowded. We ended up going to Papadeux's instead, which made Webb really happy.
Check out those muscles!

He loved Jack's swing so much that we had to get him one.

Jack is such a big boy now!

Playing with daddy

What a little cutie!

9 Months of Pure Joy!

Where has the time gone? Its hard to believe that he will be turning one in just a few months! Carson is still just army crawling, but has gotten much faster! He is definitely keeping me on my toes. Out of all the toys his favorite is the holder for his stacking rings ( in the pics). He absolutely loves it! He also goes crazy when he sees my cell phone or the tv remote. He still does not have a tooth, but I'm thinking maybe soon. He is chewing on everything! Webb mentioned this morning that he has now been with us for as long as he was in my tummy. :)

1st Mother's Day!!!

Today was such a special day. I feel truly blessed to have Carson. I absolutely LOVE being a mom. I have a love for him that is just unexplainable. We had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

Since becoming a mom, I have :

*gained a whole new respect for my mom(and all moms) :)

* been peed on more than I could imagine

*sang songs over and over and over

*been so silly, just to get a laugh or smile

*carried more in my purse (and diaper bag) than I ever thought imaginable

*gotten used to having stains on my shirt

*never been early to anything!

Happy Mother's Day to all the moms in the blogging world!

Madison Baby Shower

All the goodies!!!

The shower was a beach theme (so cute!). Carson was not going to give up his purple shovel.

Hanging out with Mrs. Rainey

The principals at Madison gave Carson a baby shower today. Since he was born right before school started, they decided to wait until the end of the school year to do it. Webb is so blessed to work at a school with such amazing faculty and staff. Everyone was so sweet to us. He will definitely be stylin' this summer in all of his new clothes! Carson just loved the attention and didn't mind one bit that he was being passed around. I'm not real sure exactly how many bites of cookie and cake he got. He was making friends with who ever had the sweets. :)

Too Cute For Words

8 Months Old!!!

Our little inch worm. He is now army crawling and looks so cute. He just can't quite get his belly off of the ground yet, but he is working on it.

Carson turned eight months this past Saturday. He is such a big boy now! He has started to eat some table food and just loves it. His favorites are peas, bananas, and the Gerber puffs. He is starting to wave (with his whole arm) when we say "bye-bye". We are having so much fun!!!
