Baby Update

Well, I went to the doctor today and the visits are definitely starting to get a little more exciting. I am not dilated yet, but hopefully soon we will see some progress. I go back to Dr. Tadvick Friday and I am waiting to hear when my appointment is to go to Dr. Mayberry for a sonogram. Dr. Tadvick is wanting to get a better idea of how big Carson is getting. It does make me a little nervous because he was estimating that he would be 7.5 - 8 at delivery, now he is thinking more like 8.5 or more. I am thinking Carson may take after his daddy.

Pottery Painting Time!

Tonight Maddie is spending the night with us. We decided to go and do something a little different. We took her to Mine by Design where you paint your own pottery. We all had so much fun! Even Uncle Webb decided that he would paint a football helmet for Carson's room. I painted a little monkey and Maddie chose to paint a fish. She was very creative with her design. Her fish is pink with brown and blue polka dots. She was so proud and I could tell that she felt like such a big girl. Hard at work.
Webb was being so silly.
Times like this make special memories.

Baby Shower Time!!!

Last weekend I had a baby shower at my friend Rebekah's house. My sister-in-law, cousins, aunt, and friends from church hosted the shower.I had such a fun time! It was great to get to see everyone. The shower was jungle theme, keeping in line with Carson's nursery. He got so many precious things. I told Webb that he is already getting spoiled and he's not even here yet. Carson's sweet grandmas. This will be Martha's second grandson.
My mom and I pose for a quick pic. This will be grandbaby #3 for her.
Here I am with all of the sweet hostesses.
My friend from high school, Lynette.
Aunt Darla made the most adorable(and delicious) jungle cupcakes.
Chatting with my friends the Burks. ( also its a really good shot of my big belly).

44 Days To Go!!!!!!

Well, hopefully 44 days or less. I am really hoping that little Carson does not decide to delay his arrival. Needless to say our excitement is building. I can't believe that I will soon be holding our son in my arms instead of my tummy. In a way it feels like I have been pregnant forever, but really the months and weeks have just been flying by. I can feel myself entering into the nesting stage. I am organizing and cleaning out stuff like crazy! Webb has been busy putting together some of the baby items that we have been given ( highchair, swing, etc.). I am so blessed to have such a handy man around the house. By the way, Webb has just been amazing throughout the entire pregnancy( I knew he would be).His sweet notes and little pieces of chocolate that he brings me, would just make my day. I have to keep apologizing for some of my crazy moods. He has also learned that early mornings and late nights are not the best times for me. This has been the most amazing experience for us and we continue to thank God daily.

Jackson's 1st Birthday

Our nephew, Jackson, had his first birthday bash. He turned one on June 25th. His party was a pirate theme. Aarrgh!!! Me maties, it's Captain Jack and black beard aka Uncle Webb. I had to miss the big party because I didn't quite feel like making the drive. Carson is making things a little more uncomfortable these days, but we only have 7 weeks to go now!!!

Update on Dad

My dad had to have shoulder replacement surgery on July 2nd. Everything went very well. It was much better than we had expected. He got to go home yesterday, July 4th. Webb and I went over to mom and dad's to cook hot dogs last night, along with his mom, Martha. We had a great time! Thank you so much for all of the prayers.
