Carson loves to put my sunglasses on....and take them off, and put them on again! I will definitely have to get him his own pair this summer because I think these are just a bit too girly!:)

Snow Day!!!

Today was Carson's first time to play in the snow! Every other time it has snowed this winter, he has either been sick or just getting over sickness and I wouldn't let him play out in it. He had so much fun today. We kept saying "wow, look at all the snow!", and he just kept saying, "wow!". So cute. It was a little hard for him to walk in it because it was so deep, but he had a blast. He took a bite of the snow and made an awful face! Ha! Guess it was not what he expected!

I think Daddy may have had even more fun than Carson!

4 Going On 14!

This past weekend my niece Maddie spent the night with us. We had SO much fun! She is so precious! I love how she is such a little momma to Carson! ( he loves it too) She can always make him laugh. We started off the night at Mr. Gattis and then headed back to our house. We read books, played dress up, polished toe nails, watched cartoons and played with glitter lava. Good times!!!

Gorgeous Here is the glitter lava. This glittery goo, is placed over a picture, and then colored over that. Pretty cool! We used the entire container of lava! :)

I took Carson to the doctor for his check up on Friday. At 17 mo. he is:
29 lb 15 oz and 32 1/4 in. long!

Christmas!!!

Christmas Eve we were at my parents house with the Lovelady gang ( mom's side of the fam). We had so much fun! There was lots of food, laughing, and playing games.......all of which I love!!!
Christmas day we woke up to find what Santa brought! Then we went to Grandma's to eat breakfast and open presents. We headed to Grandma and Grandad's for lunch with the McMillon side of the family. After a nap we opened presents with Nick, Reyna, Maddie, Wyatt, Grandma, and Grandad. Christmas night Carson started running a fever and had an awful cough, so we had to delay our trip to Fort Worth. We will be going soon to see Mitch, Elizabeth and Jack.

I feel like I have fallen so far behind! The weeks have been flying by! Carson is now on the move!!! He started walking about a week and a half ago. It is just the cutest thing to watch him toddle around. In the past couple of weeks he has started walking, climbing, and drinking out of a straw instead of his sippy cup.... all of which has been a big deal around our house! Usually he wants to cuddle with something soft at bedtime, but this time he needed his football.....daddy loved it!
