On Monday Carson will be 6 weeks old. That means I will be starting back to work this week. I will just be working on Mon, Wed, Fri, and be home the rest of the week.I feel very blessed to be able to have that schedule right now. He does not start going to his preschool until he is 8 weeks, so he will be coming with me to Curves. It will be fun, but I'm not sure how much work I'll actually get done.

Kissable cheeks

I just love this picture of Carson. I took it today. His little cheeks are finally filling out. I can't resist giving him lots of kisses. I thought the hat was pretty cute, but it was just for the picture. It is actually almost too small. I hope to be better about posting new pics.

Carson is now a month old!!! Yes, I'm a few days late posting this. It seems like our days just fly by. I have been having so much fun being home with him. As you can see, he is already changing so much.

3 weeks old

Today our little Carson is three weeks old. In a way it seems like the past few weeks have just all been a blur. His Aunt Reyna came over today to take some pictures for his birth announcements. Carson pretty much slept through the entire thing.He did great except for the very last pose that we wanted to take. He decided he had enough. She did an amazing job. I can't wait to see the finished product. Reyna takes really great pictures and is so creative. I am so thankful that she is helping us do the announcements. They are going to be precious.

Sweet Carson

I can't even put into words just how amazing it is to be a mom. I find myself thanking God over and over for this precious gift. Webb and I feel extremely blessed to have such a perfectly healthy baby. There have been a couple of nights where we are so tired that I just don't know if we can hold our eyes open any longer. We have to stop and remember that God gave us this child and he will provide us with strength to care for him. Thankfully I am feeling more like myself again, which is making things much easier. Webb is an incredible dad and husband. I am realizing now more than ever that we make a pretty good team, as husband and wife, and as parents.
