Last Sunday we went to Play Faire Park with our life group friends. We had a great time! Carson loves to be outside. It was pretty windy, so he had to just hang out in the stroller. We can't wait until summer!

7 months old

First time eating the biter biscuits

I am a day late with his 7mo. post. I was waiting until we went to the doctor today, so I had his stats. We just now had his official 6 mo. check up, because we have been having problems with ear infections and couldn't get his shots until now. He is doing great, except he still has some infection and fluid in his ears. Today we are starting the fourth antibiotic. He weighed 24 lbs. 3oz. and is 28 in. long!!! Today he started saying "dada"! He has been jabbering for a while, but today he was actually looking at Webb when he said it! Webb is so excited. I'm still waiting to hear "mama". He is sitting up really well and can roll all over the place, but not crawling yet. I just can't believe how much he is changing and starting to look like such a big boy. It has gone by so fast!

We had such a great time last weekend at my cousin's wedding. The whole thing was just beautiful and we had such a great time! Carson was just a joy to have at the wedding. I couldn't have asked for a better baby. He did not make one peep during the wedding and never got fussy at the reception. What a little trooper!

6 month pics

6 Months!!!

You can't really tell from the pic, but Carson is not feeling so good today. We went to the doctor today and he has a pretty bad ear infection. He had to get a shot of antibiotic and he'll be on another antibiotic for ten days. We won't go for his 6 mo. check up and shots for two more weeks. Today he weighed 22 lbs. 9 oz! He is just growing like a weed! ( That sounds like something my grandma would have said, but seriously, he is!)

He is jabbering a lot now. We just can't wait for him to say dada and mama. He is still working on sitting up by himself. We had to use the Bumbo for a pic, but really his legs are a little too chunky for it now.

Anytime we are out shopping, people always stop us to talk to him. He loves it! He'll smile and try to talk back. He knows he is pretty cute.
