11 Months

It is really hard to believe that Carson will soon be a year old. He is growing and changing so fast! It seems like every day he is doing something new. I love the stage that he is in right now, but it is definitely keeping me on my toes! He is not walking, but crawling everywhere and trying to pull up on furniture. The two major changes this month were: turning the car seat around and no longer taking a bottle! It was exciting times!

Fun In The Sun!

10 months!!!

Our sweet little Carson is really starting to look like such a big boy. It seems like everyday he is doing something new. We are having so much fun. He now loves to clap for himself. The cutest is when he takes his medicine or when he is eating. He loves for us to help him walk. He is just taking a few steps now, but it won't be too long before he is taking off. He will completely melt your heart with those big blue eyes and his sweet smile. He has such a joyful spirit.

Memorial Day

We had such a great day off. It was much needed. We started off the day at the zoo with Nick, Reyna, Maddie and Wyatt. Then, we ended up heading to the pool that afternoon.

Ft. Worth

This past weekend we went to Ft. Worth to visit Mitch, Elizabeth and Jack. We had such a fun time. Carson got to swim for the first time and absolutely loved it! He is such a little fish! The water was a little chilly, but Carson didn't seen to mind at all. We tried to go the the zoo, but it was way too crowded. We ended up going to Papadeux's instead, which made Webb really happy.

9 Months of Pure Joy!

Where has the time gone? Its hard to believe that he will be turning one in just a few months! Carson is still just army crawling, but has gotten much faster! He is definitely keeping me on my toes. Out of all the toys his favorite is the holder for his stacking rings ( in the pics). He absolutely loves it! He also goes crazy when he sees my cell phone or the tv remote. He still does not have a tooth, but I'm thinking maybe soon. He is chewing on everything! Webb mentioned this morning that he has now been with us for as long as he was in my tummy. :)

1st Mother's Day!!!

Today was such a special day. I feel truly blessed to have Carson. I absolutely LOVE being a mom. I have a love for him that is just unexplainable. We had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

Since becoming a mom, I have :

*gained a whole new respect for my mom(and all moms) :)

* been peed on more than I could imagine

*sang songs over and over and over

*been so silly, just to get a laugh or smile

*carried more in my purse (and diaper bag) than I ever thought imaginable

*gotten used to having stains on my shirt

*never been early to anything!
