Carson in his crib

Now I really feel like Carson is growing up so fast. Last night was the first night that he slept in his crib. I was going to wait until the weekend, but he really couldn't go another night in the bassinette. He was hitting and kicking the sides, and I was a little worried that maybe he is too heavy for it now(there is a weight limit of 15 lbs.) . He really did great. He woke up at about 3 am needing to be changed and then decided to " talk" for a little while. I just went back to bed and listened to him. He finally fell asleep. I thought that he would cry every time his pacifier fell out, but really he could care less because he would rather suck on his hands. For the most part it went really well. I think I didn't sleep as well, but I kind of figured that would be the case.

Our First Visit To The Pumpkin Patch

Check out our big boy in his overalls! I really think he is staring to look like he is older than 2 months. He was starting to get pretty sleepy, so he is kind of mellow looking in these pictures. I can't wait until he wears his Halloween costume. It is so precious. He is going to be the cutest vegetable you've ever seen! We will have pictures posted in a couple of weeks.

12 lbs. 3 oz.!!!!!

Today we took Carson to the doctor for his two month check-up and shots. I was so surprised to see his weight. He is such a little butterball. He is 22 1/2 in. long. Dr. Tuegel said he thinks he will be a pretty big guy. Well, I am glad to have gotten the first set of shots out of the way. I knew it would be hard to see my baby in pain, and it was. I took this picture when we got home. After the shots and tylenol, he was fast asleep.
Webb took this picture this weekend. There is nothing sweeter than cuddling with your baby.

Carson's dedication

This past Sunday was the baby dedication at church. It was such a special time for our family. We really appreciated our family and friends being there to pray over Carson. Our friends Abbye and Tate were also dedicating their baby Liam. He is only 4 days older than Carson. We have been so blessed being able to get to know them. I know Carson and Liam are going to be buddies. By the way, Happy Birthday Abbye!!! Hope you had a great day.

Sweet Smiles

What a happy baby!
Today I had such a long day at work. I was sitting on the couch this afternoon just thinking about how glad I am that its Friday. Carson was next to me in his bassinet taking a nap. I heard him starting to wake up and I looked over only to find my smiley baby who was giggling. He has been smiling for a while now, but today was the first time that he laughed. My heart just melted. I had the biggest smile on my face and of course ran to get my camera. I didn't get the greatest pics, because my camera is so delayed. Anyways, Carson definitely made me forget about my crazy day at work.

Bath Time

Look at that belly!!! Our little guy is starting to get chunky. I just love this picture because his hair ( that he has so much of) is all crazy. Bath time is just the cutest. He just looks so sweet when we wrap him all up in his hooded towel. Everyday is so much fun with him. He has his moments of getting fussy, but overall he is a wonderful baby. On October 11th he will be 2 months old. I can' t believe it! I guess time flies when you're having fun ( and a little sleep deprived).
